In observance of June 20th of every year, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 265, Series of 2023, and in solidarity with World Refugee Day, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Leon expresses its support for National Refugee Day with the theme:

“Standing in Solidarity with the Forcibly Displaced and Stateless People.”

This observance is carried out through LGU Memorandum No. 12, Series of 2025, directing all municipal officials, department heads, employees, and job hires to wear the color blue in a show of unity and support.
