












The Municipality of Leon in collaboration with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) conducted Ugnayan sa Barangay and Serbisyo Caravan for the residents of far-flung Barangay Bulwang and Bobon held on May 30, 2025 at Brgy. Bobon, Leon, Iloilo.
This aligns with the implementation of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) 2025. This is primarily aimed at delivering basic government services and consulting with barangay officials and residents regarding the barangay’s priority issues and concerns.
This activity is being participated by the various LGU offices comprised of MSWDO, MHO, MAO, MDRRMO, and OMCR partnered with PNP, DEPED, and 61st Infantry (Hunter) Battalion, Philippine Army. They rendered services such as free haircuts, distribution of free medicines and eyeglasses, free medical check-ups, and distribution of seeds and IEC materials to the residents of the recipientโs barangays.
Mr. Dino Sustento, Project Devโt Office II of the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), and LGOO II Noel Nathaniel G. Santillan, RCSP Focal Person speak on behalf of the provincial government. LGOO VI Emmy Marie Nedula, LGOO II Joemarie Stephen Aguason, and Mrs. Mary Jean Calambro, MPDO staff facilitated a workshop on the identification of primary and secondary issues and concerns of the barangay, its interventions, and concern agencies or department who take actions to address the gaps followed by the presentation of outputs of the respective barangays.
