The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Leon actively participated in the launching of the Iloilo eGovPH App and the eLGU System at the Iloilo Convention Center this morning. Represented by department heads and personnel, the LGU joined the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in unveiling these groundbreaking platforms aimed at enhancing government services.
The eGovPH App, introduced as a one-stop platform, aims to streamline public access to services from various agencies, making government transactions more efficient. The event was graced by DICT Regional Director Ralph Joseph Moncatar, DICT officials, national agency representatives, and local government leaders, including Iloilo mayors and SB members.
Keynote speaker, Director June Vincent Manuel Gaugan of the DICT Government Digital Transformation Bureau, highlighted the critical role of digitalization in transforming public service delivery. Through this initiative, LGU Leon reinforces its commitment to modernization, continuing its growth as a dynamic economic hub in Iloilo while fostering faster, safer, and more accessible governance.
