Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) 2024-2029 of the Municipality was approved last December 16, 2024, through Resolution No. 2024-201 and underwent Technical Assessment today. Four (4) local government units including Municipality of Sara, Pavia, Miagao, and Leon have been assessed by the CDP-Technical Assessment Committee (TAC) held at Hotel del Rio, M.H. del Pilar St., Molo, Iloilo City. This event was represented by Engr, the LGU personnel. Bobby C. Villan, MPDC, Ma. Glenda May C. Saavedra, Municipal Budget Officer, Julie Anne C. Amistoso, Acting Municipal Treasurer, Mary Jean C. Calambro, Administrative Assistant V and Emmy Marie Nedula, MLGOO-Leon, Iloilo. CDP-TAC presented assessment results per LGU compliance with DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2018-172, ensuring that each municipality has a vertical alignment with the higher plans, thematic plans, and national thrusts. These six-year mandated, medium-term, multi-sectoral plans formulated by the Local Government Unit outline the vision, sectoral goals, objectives, development strategies, and priorities as the result of the concerted effort of various offices and personnel of the Local Government Unit of Leon, with inputs coming from across all sectors and stakeholders in the locality.
